Salespeople are more ambitious than most, and usually a 'cut above' in their ability to make things happen as they want. Too many of us spend endless time in pubs, hotel foyers and of course ~ the little chef talking about 'the dream'. We all have an idea but few of us ever get it off the ground. Why not use the bulletin board to attract others who can work with you to make it happen ~ When you have the time you don't have the money. When you have the money you don't have the time. Find a partner to bridge the gap...

Before taking the leap into the unknown though consider carefully your motives. Whether it’s a shot at the big bucks that’s driving you. or a lifestyle choice where you crave less pressure and more time, be aware you’re VERY unlikely you’ll get both!
Having thought it through write down the pros and cons, freedom is nice but to be fair so is a company car, regular salary, and a pension. Don’t get caught in ‘the other mans grass’ syndrome.
The most important thing will always be keeping your head straight. If you’re happy there’s a good chance those around you will be to. If you’re not, the ‘whole pack of cards’ can come down. Enjoy the privilege of making the choice; you’ve worked hard for it …..
