Why not hook up with another salesperson who regularly visits 'Joe Blows Hotel in Bore-Town', and is equally fed-up with room service and the 14inch TV with a broken remote. Arrange to hook up and have some laughs with a local sales guy maybe. We all visit so many great places but feel a bit naff exploring on our own ~ go on, get with the programme and post your next visit on the 'Fun Wanted' board. You never know ...
Eating Alone Again ...
How many times have you sat in a hotel room and ordered room service? If you're lucky it's a Marriott, if you're not it's a B&B or a Travel Lodge. Either way you're a long way from home and bored out of your head ... Why not post a note on our bulletin board and hook up with a colleague who lives in the area or is sitting in the room next to you equally bored. Go out to eat rather than eat hotel food AGAIN. Have some fun with a 'like minded' salesperson rather than hiding behind a laptop or newspaper in the bar hoping that accountant won't come over and bore you into an early night .....
Think Tank
Salespeople are more ambitious than most, and usually a 'cut above' in their ability to make things happen as they want. Too many of us spend endless time in pubs, hotel foyers and of course ~ the little chef talking about 'the dream'. We all have an idea but few of us ever get it off the ground. Often we find ourselves entertaining in a strange town with no idea of where to go. Ask a salesperson who lives locally to fill you in. Whether it's a restaurant, bar, club, casino, or a lap dance you need ~ someone knows the best place to go. It's usually a salesperson !!
