How many times have you sat in a hotel room and ordered room service? If you're lucky it's a Marriott, if you're not it's a B&B or a Travel Lodge and you can’t even get room service! Either way you're a long way from home and bored out of your head ... Why not post a note on our bulletin board and hook up with a colleague who lives in the area or is sitting in the room next to you equally bored. Go out to eat rather than eat hotel food AGAIN. Have some fun with a 'like minded' salesperson rather than hiding behind a laptop or newspaper in the bar hoping that accountant won't come over and bore you into an early night ...
